Antibiotics Overprescribed to Asthmatic Kids
It is widely known that antibiotic overuse promotes the emergence of resistant bacteria, yet many pediatricians still prescribe antibiotics unnecessarily to asthmatic patients. A similar trend was seen in Belgium. Researchers say that better educating doctors about the causes and appropriate courses of treatment for asthma could help reduce the overprescribing of antibiotics. Discuss
